I have for sometime with the help of Graham Sharland been gathering numerous recordings of Devon Call Change ringing from Devon churches as well as from around the Country. The CD will include peals and clips of Peals from the Devon 8 bell Final at East Budleigh, the Qualifier's at Colaton Raleigh and the final at Blackawton, it may also include pieces from Meavy in 2005. the main body of recordings will come from the trips we have had to Herefordshire and will include the peals at Bodenham, Ledbury, Ross on Wye along with others such as Bosbury, Kingstone and Madley, we will aslo have clips of us rising the beautiful bells at Abergavenny where we put the back 8 up in peal. We have started to put the material together and will eventually need a professional person to help us produce the CD in a professional manner, if anyone knows of anyone who can help this would be great. Our main aim when producing this CD is to bring to you the listener a quality product that you can listen to over and over again, we are going through the material with a fine toothcombe and we hope that by doing this we will produce a CD that has quality striking on it and that will sell at next years Roadshow in Warwickshire. The money that we make on the product will go to either the Devon Church Bell Restoration Fund or the Devon Association of Ringers which ever we feel would be best to support, if we can give money to both then this would be a bonus.
