Exmoor Baskets and Hurdles - South West England Basket and hurdles makers. Paul Tuck began working with willow in 1987 on the Somerset Levels. When he moved to the edge of Exmoor in 1988 he began trading as Exmoor Baskets and Hurdles.
The original aim was to produce strong functional items based on traditional designs, and that aim continues to this day!
Paul has always used good quality Somerset willow, and has been growing his own material for hurdle making since the mid-nineties.
Hurdles, climbers and other garden items are produced using either green willow or steamed willow which becomes a dark chocolate brown. |
